Uganda & Rwanda

Uganda

Uganda finds itself on the borders of Kenya, and to the north of the more famous big brother of safari destinations, Tanzania.

The most unique experience Uganda has to offer is mountain gorilla encounters which can be experienced in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Other well-frequented areas are the Queen Elizabeth National Park and the popular Ruwenzori mountain ranges.

The main international airports are in Kampala/ Entebbe overlooking Lake Victoria. This is the hub for flights into and out of the gorilla trekking regions of the south-west and is ideal for a pre or post-trip stay.

Rwanda

Rwanda is a much smaller country, border lining the south of Uganda and nestled between Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Nonetheless, it offers some of the world’s most unique experiences, in areas such as the infamous Volcanoes National Park, and Nyungwe National Park.

The terrain that Rwanda has to offer, consists of wild rainforests, with wide-open hillsides, where you can spend your day’s gorilla trekking or visiting eye-opening heritage sites.

You can easily link you stay in Rwanda with Tanzania or Kenya with the country’s main airport being located in the city of Kigali.
